Annual Electrofishing Survey
The lakes management team will conduct annual electrofishing surveys on all village lakes beginning Monday, April 13, 2026.
These surveys are essential for evaluating fish populations and maintaining ecological balance.
This year, the work will be performed during daylight hours to enhance safety. The police department will be notified daily of the specific lakes being surveyed.
Residents are advised to avoid approaching the water or attempting to attract the team’s attention during operations.
Weather conditions permitting, the surveys are expected to conclude within approximately two weeks. Your cooperation is appreciated to ensure safety and the success of this environmental initiative.
