The rains finally came and the Lake Balboa boat ramp is now open. Currently Balboa is still approximately 1 foot below normal pool, so boaters please maintain awareness of shallow areas of the lake

Annual Electrofishing Survey
These annual lake surveys provide essential information for evaluating fish populations to help maintain the ecological balance of Village lakes.
The Lakes Management team conducted the annual electrofishing surveys on Village lakes beginning Monday, April 13 with a planned completion date of Friday, April 24 2026. Due to survey equipment issues that could not be fixed inside the survey opportunity timeframe, Lakes Coronado, Balboa, and Estrella could not be surveyed this year.
This year's survey results are being complied and will be posted when they become available.
